Across Huntsville, abandoned buildings sit empty, while women in crisis search for safety, stability, and a fresh start. These vacant properties represent more than blight; they’re opportunities to create spaces of healing and hope. Battle Sister Crusade is working to secure, renovate, and restore these buildings into fully furnished transitional homes. Each location will become a safe steppingstone for women emerging from foster care, incarceration, or homelessness, offering up to two years of free housing and support services to help them rebuild their lives.
